Effective date: 4 October 2026 · Last updated: 11 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Depot Dispatch (“the app”, “we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you play. By installing or using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at nguyenduyanhuit1989@gmail.com.
1. The short version
- No account and no sign-up. You never give us an email address, a phone number or your real name.
- The leaderboards show a display name you choose, a country flag and your score — nothing else (section 6).
- Your progress stays on your device. Levels, stars, coins, boosters and settings are stored locally; only the scores you see on the leaderboards are sent to our server.
- You can erase everything from inside the app, including your leaderboard entries: Settings → “Delete my data”.
- Advertising, crash reporting and anonymous usage statistics use Google services, described in section 3.
2. What is stored on your device
Saved in your device’s standard app storage, and uninstalling the app deletes all of it. Of this list, only your display name, country and scores are ever sent anywhere — to the leaderboards (section 6).
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Classic Depot levels cleared; Dispatch Board stars and your best sign count for each level | so you can continue where you stopped and see your stars |
| The level you were in the middle of | so you can resume it |
| Extra levels the app builds on your device after the built-in ones | so new levels keep coming |
| Coin balance and booster counts | to keep what you have earned |
| Sound, vibration, language and screen-orientation settings | to remember your choices |
| Which tutorial tips you have already seen | so the game does not re-teach you |
| The time you last played | to time the reminders described in section 5 |
| Your display name and country | to show you on the leaderboards (section 6) |
3. What third-party services receive
3.1 Google AdMob — advertising
The app is free and shows ads. To do that, Google’s advertising SDK may process your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), your IP address and a coarse location derived from it, technical details about your device, and how you interact with ads. This is used to select, show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud.
On iOS the app asks for your permission before any tracking, through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the app cannot read your advertising identifier; ads still appear, but without tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform appears on first launch, before any ad is requested. Your choice is stored on your device by Google’s SDK and applied to ad requests. Uninstalling the app clears it, and the form appears again the next time you install.
Ad content is capped at Google’s “G” (General audiences) rating.
Google’s own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
3.2 Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting
When the app crashes or hits a serious error, a report is sent so the fault can be fixed. It contains where in our code the problem happened, the device model, the OS version, the app version, basic device state at that moment (such as free memory and storage), and the anonymous installation identifier described in 3.4. It contains no name, no email address and nothing you have typed.
3.3 Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics
Firebase Analytics records the standard events it collects automatically — for example the first launch, sessions and how long they last, app updates — together with the device model, OS version, app version, device language and an approximate location (country, region or city) derived from the IP address. Where your device settings and choices allow it, this can include the device’s advertising identifier. Records are grouped by the anonymous installation identifier described in 3.4. They never contain a name, an email address or payment details.
3.4 Firebase anonymous authentication
The app signs in to Firebase anonymously, which creates a random identifier specific to your installation. It groups the crash reports and statistics above and keeps your leaderboard entries yours (section 6); it is not linked to your real name, your email address or any account.
4. Purchases
This version of Depot Dispatch sells nothing: there are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and the app handles no payment information. If a later version adds a purchase, this policy will be updated before it appears.
5. Reminders (local notifications)
If notifications are allowed for the app, it schedules reminders on your device: one each evening at 20:00 local time, and a comeback reminder if you have not played for a day, three days or a week. Your device creates and delivers them by itself — no server sends them, and no notification token or other data leaves your device. You can switch them off at any time in your device’s notification settings for Depot Dispatch.
6. The leaderboards
The game has two global leaderboards: one for the Classic Depot (levels cleared) and one for the Dispatch Board (stars). Before your first game the app asks you for a display name (any nickname — it is filled in for you, and offensive names are refused) and a country (suggested from your device’s region).
Each leaderboard entry holds exactly: that display name, that country code, your score, how many levels you have cleared, and the anonymous installation identifier from section 3.4 that keeps the entry yours. It is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is visible to other players. No email, no real name, no device identifier and no location are stored with it.
You can change the name or country at any time in Settings → Display name, and remove your entries with “Delete my data” (section 8). Comparing scores is the only thing the leaderboards do: there is no chat, no messaging, no friends list and no live play between players.
7. What we do NOT do
- No account, no sign-up, no password, no social login.
- No chat, messaging, friends list or multiplayer.
- No access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or location.
- No selling or renting of data to anyone.
- No collection of anything from a child that we could identify as such.
8. Deleting your data
Open Settings → “Delete my data” and confirm. This deletes your leaderboard entries from our server and clears your progress, coins, boosters, display name and settings from the device, in one step, and it cannot be undone. If the device is offline the app tells you the leaderboard entries could not be removed yet, and you can repeat it once online. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything stored on the device.
Crash reports and usage statistics (sections 3.2 and 3.3) are not linked to your name or email, and Google deletes them automatically at the end of the retention period of those services. To ask for them to be deleted sooner, email nguyenduyanhuit1989@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.
You can control your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings: iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android — Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset or delete it.
9. Children
Depot Dispatch is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Where data is processed
Google processes advertising, crash, analytics and leaderboard data on its own infrastructure, which may be outside your country. For crash reports and analytics Google acts as our processor under its own terms; for advertising it also processes data under its own privacy policy. Google applies standard contractual clauses where required.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under Vietnam’s personal data protection law and the EU and UK GDPR — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no account, the practical routes are Settings → Display name (to correct your leaderboard entry), the in-app deletion in section 8, the device controls in section 3, and the email address below. Write to us and we will help.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the “Last updated” date above, and for a material change we will say so in the app’s release notes.
